Founder & Managing Member
Bio
Jereme Baker is the owner and Managing Member of Baker Law Group. With extensive experience in various practice areas, including Real Estate, Business/Corporate Law, Estate Planning, and Probate, he has provided legal and business advice to numerous small and medium-sized businesses. Mr. Baker has served as both in-house legal counsel and as outside general counsel, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges and achieve their business objectives.
Education & Experience
Jereme Baker earned his B.A. from Rutgers University and his J.D. from the University of Colorado. He founded Baker Law Group in 2011 and has since achieved notable accomplishments in his practice, such as:
- Negotiating and forming a multimillion-dollar joint venture investment fund.
- Assisting a private equity client in acquiring over $30 million in real estate assets, including due diligence and drafting agreements.
- Negotiating and drafting a $60 million commercial real estate development venture in Denver.
His expertise also includes advisement on corporate governance, management, and operations of privately held ventures, regulatory compliance, drafting business formation and partnership agreements, commercial loan agreements, and handling contractual disputes. He has experience with purchase and sale agreements, residential and commercial leases, and real estate title and due diligence review in real estate. In probate, he has litigated contested wills/trusts and advised clients on probate administration.

Personal Life
Jereme Baker is the proud father of two young boys. He enjoys spending time with them outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, and watching them grow up.

Brian Petz is a senior associate at Baker Law Group and a 2025 Rising Star for Super Lawyers – an honor given to only 3% of lawyers in the state of Colorado. His practice focuses on Business Law, Probate & Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law. Mr. Petz has represented an array of clients in estate planning, including those with small, moderate, and large estates and those with traditional and blended families. He has assisted clients in the administration of multimillion-dollar trusts and estates. He has litigated probate issues concerning, among other things, fiduciary appointment and removal, surcharge, common-law marriage, and heirship.
Education & Experience
Mr. Petz earned his B.S. from Florida State University and his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School. Mr. Petz joined Baker Law Group as an associate attorney in 2015 and has since achieved notable accomplishments in his practice, such as:
Supported the Real Estate and Business Law Departments of Baker Law Group, LLC, recently assisting on real estate acquisitions exceeding $30 million in value, various commercial contracts, master service agreements, commercial and residential leases, and business formations.
He is actively involved in various organizations serving and advocating for Colorado’s senior population.

Personal Life
Originally from Clearwater, Florida, Brian lives in Thornton with his wife and three dogs. During his spare time, he enjoys hiking and playing hockey.
