Carl specializes in litigation involving real estate, business, breach of contract, construction defect issues, mechanic’s liens, and related areas at Baker Law Group, LLC. His journey to becoming a skilled attorney began in Wichita, Kansas, where he grew up before attending the University of Dallas, majoring in Economics. Throughout his career, Carl has successfully represented clients in complex legal matters, including setting new legal precedents in workers’ compensation law and assisting clients with insurance bad faith cases in federal court.
Carl earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Dallas before being accepted into Washburn University School of Law under the prestigious Shamberg Scholar program. During law school, Carl achieved several honors, including: His practice has expanded to include:
Carl’s legal career includes contributions to legal precedent in workers’ compensation cases and extensive experience in handling complex federal court matters related to insurance claims and construction defects. His commitment to legal excellence has earned him recognition in his field.
In August 2021, Carl moved to Denver, Colorado, drawn by the beauty of the mountains and the opportunity to expand his practice. Outside of his legal career, Carl enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, attending concerts, and traveling. He also cherishes time at home with his partner, cat, and dog, enthusiastically embracing the Colorado lifestyle.
Dalton grew up outside Austin, Texas, and has always been passionate about sports and the law. His journey into the legal field began while pursuing his education and competing in college baseball as a pitcher.
Dalton graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. He then attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he earned his J.D. During law school, he gained valuable experience working at two law firms focusing on litigation.
After passing the bar, he joined Baker Law Group, LLC. He specializes in various legal areas, including:
Dalton is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Texas, and Indiana.
Outside of practicing law, Dalton enjoys training and coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he holds a Brown Belt. He is also an avid chess player and enjoys spending time outdoors with his German shepherd, often taking him hiking. Dalton’s dedication to both his professional and personal pursuits showcases his commitment to excellence and well-roundedness.
