Nicholas Webber is a senior associate attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC, where he focuses his practice on criminal defense and family law. He brings deep courtroom experience to clients facing the most serious, life-altering moments.
My Philosophy: Every Client Deserves to Be Heard
My name is Nicholas Webber, and I’ve spent my career standing beside people when the system stops listening. For 13 years, I defended clients at the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office in Denver, one of the state’s busiest trial offices. I’ve handled everything from DUIs and misdemeanors to homicides and sexual assault cases, including cases where a conviction could mean a life sentence.
What I’ve learned is that the charges never tell the whole story. Prosecutors don’t always test their own cases for weaknesses, and people are too often judged before anyone hears what really happened. My job is to find the truth, build the strongest defense possible, and be ready to present it to a jury when the other side won’t listen to reason. I was born and raised in Colorado, and I’m proud to fight for people in the community I call home.
Nicholas won a self-defense case at trial for a domestic violence survivor after the prosecution refused to reconsider the charges. The judge released her following the verdict.

What You Can Expect Working With Nicholas
Criminal charges or a family crisis can feel overwhelming. Nicholas’s goal is to give you clarity, a strong plan, and an advocate who won’t back down.
Your Full Story, Not Just the Police Report
Nicholas takes the time to learn what actually happened, including the context and history a police report leaves out. Those details often win a case.
A Trial-Ready Defense From Day One
Nicholas prepares every case as if it’s going to trial. He looks for the gaps prosecutors miss, files the right motions, and builds the leverage that leads to better outcomes, whether that’s a dismissal, a strong negotiated result, or a verdict.
Clear Guidance on What’s at Stake
Nicholas explains your options and the real-world consequences of each, including collateral issues like immigration status, sentencing exposure, and restitution. You’ll make every decision with your eyes open.
