Refund Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Baker Law Group, PLLC offers residential lease packages and other legal document products through our online store. This policy explains how refunds work for those digital products. It does not apply to legal services provided under a separate engagement agreement with our firm.

About Our Lease Packages

Our residential lease packages are attorney-drafted document templates prepared for landlords and property managers. Each package is written for a specific state, because landlord-tenant law varies significantly from one state to the next. Packages are delivered electronically, typically within one business day of purchase.

These packages are self-help legal documents provided for informational purposes. They are not legal advice, and purchasing a package does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Baker Law Group, PLLC or any of our attorneys. If your situation calls for advice specific to your property, contact us to discuss retaining an attorney separately.

Choosing the Right Package for Your State

Please select the package that matches the state where your rental property is located before completing your purchase. Required disclosures and permitted lease terms differ by state, and a package written for one state may not meet the legal requirements of another. We are not able to guarantee that a package prepared for one state will comply with the law of a different state, so double-check your selection at checkout.

Our General Refund Policy

All sales of digital products, including residential lease packages and other downloadable legal document products, are final once a package has been delivered, made available for download, or accessed. Because these are self-help digital products delivered electronically, refunds are NOT available for any of the following, without limitation: a change of preference; buyer's remorse; a decision not to use the documents or non-use; dissatisfaction with a self-help document; a determination that the documents are no longer needed; a determination that the documents are unsuitable for your own facts, property, or circumstances; or the fact that the law, facts, jurisdiction, or your individual situation changed after your purchase. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable Colorado law.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Baker Law Group, PLLC may, in its sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund under circumstances such as:

  • You were charged more than once for the same order
  • You selected the wrong state package and have not yet downloaded or accessed the files
  • A technical problem on our end prevented you from receiving or accessing your package
  • The files you received do not match the product description

This list is not exhaustive of the reasons a refund may be denied, and the circumstances above are the only case-by-case exceptions the firm will consider, each in its sole discretion. Approving a refund in one case does not obligate Baker Law Group, PLLC to approve any similar or other request in the future, and no prior refund shall be construed as a waiver of, or precedent for, any other refund. Baker Law Group, PLLC expressly reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without notice, to grant, deny, condition, reduce, modify, or discontinue refunds at any time. All refund matters under this policy are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
