His practice focuses on Business Law, Probate & Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law. Mr. Petz has represented an array of clients in estate planning, including those with small, moderate, and large estates and those with traditional and blended families. He has assisted clients in the administration of multimillion-dollar trusts and estates. He has litigated probate issues concerning, among other things, fiduciary appointment and removal, surcharge, common-law marriage, and heirship.

Heather Cooper serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Baker Law Group, PLLC, bringing over 25 years of experience as an attorney, technology CEO, and three-time founder. With a unique blend of legal acumen and business leadership, she has successfully built, scaled, and sold companies, consistently focusing on innovation, operational excellence, and risk mitigation.

Tyler specializes in litigation involving real estate, breach of contract, landlord-tenant law, foreclosures, and related areas at Baker Law Group, PLLC, LLC. Tyler is currently licensed in Colorado and Nevada. He grew up in Virginia Beach and attended the University of Virginia, where he double-majored in History and Classical Languages, focusing on Latin. His passion for travel began during a study abroad program at the University of Oxford, which ignited a lifelong love for exploration.

With over a decade of courtroom experience and a philosophy rooted in protecting the underdog, Ashley provides skilled representation in both criminal defense and family law, guiding clients through some of the most difficult and life-changing challenges they’ll ever face. Ashley is a member and the team lead for our criminal, family law, and employment law departments.

Stephen Kahley is a senior associate attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC, bringing more than 20 years of experience in real estate law, business law, and commercial transactions. He is known for his strong focus on contract negotiation and for providing strategic legal counsel that supports and advances his clients’ broader business objectives.

Jennifer Schwab is a senior associate attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC, specializing in Estate Planning, Probate, Business Law, Real Estate, Cannabis Law, and Psilocybin Law. Her legal career began as a law clerk for the Honorable Todd Vriesman in Jefferson County District Court, where her interest in civil and probate law was ignited.

Jennifer Landry is a Senior Associate Attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC. Her practice focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, and Elder Law. Jennifer began her career as an attorney in Texas after spending more than 15 years in sales & management in both the public and private sectors.

Christopher Pike is an accomplished business and real estate attorney. His extensive legal career is marked by deep expertise in both litigation and transactional matters, particularly in the fields of commercial and residential real estate, as well as complex business issues.

Robert (“Rob”) Thomas is a seasoned Colorado attorney with more than 17 years of litigation experience in employment and labor law. His practice centers on employer‑side defense, compliance, and dispute resolution, including matters involving discrimination, wage and hour issues, and labor relations under both federal and state law. Rob is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Sean Thomson has over 17 years of deep experience in Colorado’s criminal justice system. He started his career litigating before the Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court before shifting to representing defendants accused of the most serious crimes in Denver District Court, up to and including First Degree Murder. He has appeared in and prevailed in courts of all levels all over the state, from Larimer County to Costilla County, and from Prowers to Moffat. Most recently, he sat as a Magistrate Judge in both the Denver County Court and Arapahoe Combined Courts. Sean also practices family law cases including divorce.

Steven represents businesses in high-stakes disputes and government investigations. He handles Civil-RICO defense, commercial real estate litigation, Chapter 11 restructuring, and business defense matters, with a strategic approach focused on achieving the best possible outcome.

Jenya has practiced throughout the Mountain West including Breckenridge, Vail, and Aspen. Her practice ranges from residential real estate purchase and development to civil litigation with a focus on construction defect and real estate disputes. She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2015 and the Vermont Bar (inactive) in 2018

Aimee is a native Austinite and sixth-generation Texan who was thrilled to spend seven years of her life on the Forty Acres at The University of Texas. She primarily handles civil litigation, with a focus on commercial matters, including breach of contract, real estate, and business disputes.

Dalton grew up outside Austin, Texas, and has always been passionate about sports and the law. His journey into the legal field began while pursuing his education and competing in college baseball as a pitcher.

Bruce Robinson is an associate attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC. Before entering the legal profession, he spent several years working as an actor and political organizer, experiences that strengthened his communication skills and deepened his commitment to advocacy. He now brings that perspective to his legal practice. Bruce is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Connor specializes in litigation involving real estate, breach of contract, foreclosure law, and related areas at Baker Law Group, PLLC, LLC. Connor is licensed to practice in Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska, as well as in federal court in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and District of Kansas and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Baker Law Group, PLLC, Connor served as in-house counsel for a national title insurance company before beginning his civil litigation practice in Kansas and Colorado.

Sophia Faiella is an associate attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC, where she focuses her practice on civil litigation and criminal defense. She brings a strong courtroom presence and a commitment to client advocacy in both complex civil disputes and criminal matters.

Alexander Polta is an Associate Attorney at Baker Law Group, PLLC. Before entering civil practice, Mr. Polta represented the State of Missouri and the People of Colorado through all stages of criminal prosecution, handling numerous cases that proceeded to jury trial. He now brings that extensive courtroom experience to his civil litigation practice.

With a focus on precision, preparation, and results, Ben Brittain represents clients in high-stakes criminal and civil matters. Ben spent the majority of his career as a public defender, where he handled a high volume of cases and developed substantial courtroom experience, including litigation and trial work in complex and challenging situations. That background shaped a disciplined, strategic approach to advocacy that continues to define his practice today. In addition to his criminal defense work, Ben has handled a wide range of civil litigation matters, including employment-related disputes and other complex cases. This breadth of experience allows him to evaluate cases from multiple angles, balancing aggressive advocacy with a practical understanding of risk, exposure, and resolution.

Abby is a dedicated litigator with experience across all stages of litigation, and approaches complex legal and factual challenges with confidence and diligence. She began her legal career with the Colorado State Public Defender, where she developed strong courtroom advocacy and trial presentation skills. She's subsequently transitioned to employment law, where she represents clients in a wide range of matters, including discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and unpaid wage claims.

Aubrey is an Associate Attorney with Baker Law Group, PLLC’s civil litigation team. She has a deep understanding of the judicial decision-making process from her time clerking for a state district court judge where she worked on complex criminal and civil matters. Additionally, this experience allows Aubrey to uniquely guide clients through the court process with compassion and understanding. Born in Reno, Nevada, Aubrey attended the University of Nevada, Reno where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She then continued her education at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law where she was a member of the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal and Student Trial Lawyers Association.

Charles L. Rutter (Charlie) serves as a senior associate attorney and one of the Firm’s Intake Attorneys. Charlie has 25 years of legal expertise. Throughout his career, he has served as General Counsel for various construction companies and has been a member of several startups. Early in his career, he also served as both a State Prosecutor and Assistant Attorney General, and as a Business Litigation Associate at the national law firm of Stinson, LLP. Before practicing law, he held a secret clearance while working at the Pentagon in the Air Force’s Strategic Planning and Programming Directorate.

Doug is a client intake coordinator for the firm and brings 14 years of legal experience to his work. He has focused his career on advocating for clients in employment matters involving sexual harassment, workplace retaliation, violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act, and discrimination based on gender, pregnancy, race, age, and disability. He is admitted to the Georgia Bar, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Michael J. Smith is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than two decades of experience representing businesses, innovators, professionals, and institutions in high‑stakes civil litigation and complex intellectual property disputes. His practice spans federal and state courts across Texas and multiple jurisdictions nationwide, with a focus on commercial litigation, patent matters, construction disputes, and high‑value contract claims.

Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Jonelle L. Oldacre represents clients in construction, business, and commercial matters with practical, strategic counsel. Known for her thoughtful approach and problem-solving mindset, she helps clients protect their interests, navigate disputes, and address the legal and operational challenges that can affect both projects and businesses.

Michael D.O. Rusco (Cooweeja Mįįnąk) has spoken, published, taught, and practiced extensively in the areas of litigation, appellate advocacy, commercial law, tribal law, and federal Indian law. He has published articles on legal writing, tribal sovereignty, and tribal citizenship. He has advised businesses and tribal governments on a variety of high stakes matters including commercial contracts, business structures, construction law, constitutional law, employment law, gaming, taxation, breach of trust claims, natural resources defense, tribal code drafting, U.S. Supreme Court appeals, and collection of tribal court judgments. He is a former University of Wisconsin William H. Hastie Fellow and law professor.

Evan has been a practicing attorney for over fifteen years. During that time, he has worked in a variety of environments and litigated many types of cases, giving him a broad understanding of the demands of the field and familiarity with different areas of law

Stefanie’s practice focuses on family law with a primary emphasis on child advocacy. She earned her B.A. in English and History from Vanderbilt University and her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served on the Law Review and received multiple academic honors. Prior to returning to Colorado in 2023, Stefanie served as a court‑contracted Guardian ad Litem for the First Judicial District Kinship Guardianship docket in New Mexico.

A graduate of UCLA School of Law, Donald Bordelove is an attorney with more than fifteen years of experience advising businesses, government entities, and institutional clients on complex legal, operational, and litigation matters. Donald's practice spans commercial transactions, labor and employment, litigation management, insurance related matters, regulatory compliance, and strategic business counseling. He has served in senior corporate roles supporting operations across real estate, licensing, construction, technology, digital platforms, logistics, marketing, and human resources. Donald regularly advises on sophisticated commercial agreements, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, internal investigations, and dispute resolution.

Summer Doyal-Breshears is a licensed Texas attorney whose legal career is defined by perseverance, compassion, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate challenging circumstances.
