My Philosophy: A Defense for Everyone
My name is Ashley White, and I have dedicated my career to standing up for people during some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives. From my early years as a public defender to my practice today in criminal defense and family law, my philosophy has remained the same: everyone deserves to be heard, their rights deserve to be protected, and their future is worth fighting for.
In criminal defense, I believe a person is more than the worst thing they have ever been accused of doing. The justice system is supposed to presume innocence, but I know firsthand how quickly someone can feel judged before they have had an opportunity to tell their side of the story. I take seriously my responsibility to challenge the evidence, protect constitutional rights, and ensure every client receives a meaningful defense.
In family law, the stakes are just as personal. Whether someone is navigating a divorce, fighting to protect their relationship with their children, or facing a contentious custody dispute, the outcome can shape their family's future for years to come. I believe in approaching these cases with compassion, honesty, and a clear strategy, while never losing sight of what matters most to my client.
I am not afraid of difficult cases, challenging circumstances, or standing up when the odds seem stacked against someone.
