Sean Thomson has over 17 years of deep experience in Colorado’s criminal justice system. He started his career litigating before the Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court before shifting to representing defendants accused of the most serious crimes in Denver District Court, up to and including First Degree Murder. He has appeared in and prevailed in courts of all levels all over the state, from Larimer County to Costilla County, and from Prowers to Moffat. Most recently, he sat as a Magistrate Judge in both the Denver County Court and Arapahoe Combined Courts. Sean also practices family law cases including divorce.

He brews beer, sake and mead, and has won national-level gold and silver medals for his European Style Sour Ales. Living in Colorado, of course he loves to ski in Breck.
